The Nazis in the 1930's and 1940's used exactly the same propaganda tactic as is used by Trump:  repeat a lie over & over, and many people will come to believe it.  No evidence of truth required.  Our President does so almost every time he speaks.  He's a SERIAL LIAR.  Such is so obvious it's not only embarrassing, it's also painful and tragic to view.

I see inklings of his supporters waking up to this scenario.  Not the smaller group of cult members, but rather the people who are fed up with the Establishment and thus voted for Trump just to vote against his opponent.  They seem to be rethinking their position, and voicing concern over his illegal and outrageous actions.  Good!

Trump has made a great start toward his self-destruction

 1.  He continues to tout tariffs, falsely claiming the countries upon which they are imposed will foot the bill.  They won't.  The American businesses importing the goods will pay those tariffs.  In almost all cases, those costs will be passed on to consumers, you and me.

2.  In addition to number 1 above, Trump & Crew's massive deportation of undocumented immigrants will have a negative effect on our economy.  People in business here hire those who emigrate to the USA.  The immigrants work for lower wages and most often take jobs not wanted by most American citizen workers.

3.  The Trump Admin claims that the citizen-birthright clause in the 14th Amendment needs to be "reinterpreted".  No, it doesn't.  It's blatantly clear:  if you're born here, you're a citizen of the USA.

4.  Trump continues to alienate allies of ours, including Canada, Mexico, Denmark and many others who do not kowtow to his threats, ridiculous proposals and lies.

5.  He is slashing social safety-net programs while ramping up ties to Oligarchs and the transfer of wealth to the Upper Crust of society.

6.  On the Environmental Front, Trump is a disaster beyond the pale.  To make things even worse, he is appointing Corporatists to run agencies (e.g., the EPA) which are despised by the new Head Honchos.  Expect more air and water pollution, as well as less cleanup of Superfund Toxic Sites.

When gaslighters get backed into a corner, one of the tactics they use to get free is this:  they change the subject of conversation.  Trump is a master of that tactic.

Prior to the last election, he boasted he would "bring down grocery prices" and "stop inflation".  After the election, he admitted to Mainstream Media such would be "hard to do" and "I can't guarantee anything". [See the 10-minute clip above.]  A short time after that, he changed the subject to laughable proposals about Canada, Greenland, and the Panama Canal.  Mainstream Media jumped onboard and let him off the hook re grocery prices, etc.

Once again, DJT has shown he's not a serious person.  Neither is he a statesman, a gentleman, or a philosophically grounded human being.  Except in the camps of dictators (or wannabe dictators), he's a laughingstock all around the world.]  [See the clip above.]
